Sean O Connor
is a graduate of Rutgers-Newark School of Law. After graduating from law school, Mr. O Connor had the unique opportunity to clerk for two separate Superior Court judges in Morris County. First, for the Honorable Stephen F. Smith, Jr. in the Civil Division, and then for the Honorable Robert Muir, Jr. who returned to the bench on recall to handle a $1.7 billion insurance coverage case for underlying asbestos liability. Upon completion of his clerkship, Mr. O Connor began practicing at the Law Office of Craig V. O Connor, which became O Connor & O Connor.
Since he began his legal career, Mr. O Connor has had experience with criminal cases at both the Superior Court and municipal court levels. He has successfully represented clients in DWI cases, traffic cases, municipal court matters, domestic violence, drug cases, Landlord/Tenant matters, real estate sales/purchases, divorce cases, and assorted family law issues. Mr. O Connor has also been involved with representing clients for the Office of the Public Defender in Morris County. This has included handling charges of drug distribution, assault, rape, drug possession, eluding, terroristic threats, criminal trespass, and contempt charges. He has been responsible for representing the Office of Public Defender in Morris County in their representation of the participants of the Morris County Drug Court Program.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. O Connor attended Syracuse University on a football scholarship and played for the New York Football Giants.
